cleared leave from mon to thurs, booked in only on thurs night cos of the cny celebration on fri. the celebration was rather short, gathered at the cookhouse to lao1 yu2 sheng1…seriously this is my first time doing that..ahah..dwin was rather surprised..no surprise for me though cos i dun celebrate cny..at least for the past few years it has been this way..ahahz..no big deal also lah…

spent a lot of money recently…ahah…sian sia…desktop, broadband, all expenses i settle one..but i try not to worry about money issues..no point doing so and i dun like worrying about money either..lol

i am so amazed to find out that actually most of my platoon mates could actually play the piano..all so pro one..can’t tell lar….i feel so inferior loh…i know nothing lar…can’t play cello really well cos dun have professional guidance..wah sian i shd stop comparing with my platoon mates..

anyway wishing all my friends out there happy cny..do enjoy and collect lots of hongbaos…

had a rather fulfilling weekend…simple and yet enjoyable..

had been working on this ORD video clip with kev and liheng since wed…met with some technical problems, yea still working on it..

yup then on fri i got my new desktop up..:) can’t help but mention kev and liheng again…they have been wonderful guys, helping me in a lot of things, and the latest of all helping me assemble my new com..

went to nus for some talk on sat afternoon, and that’s after transporting my new com from kev’s house to my new house..saw quite a lot of people from my unit at the talk, as well as some old classmates, like rx, kenneth and ying wei. rushed back to tampines later to have dinner with hui qin and her kor yang hui..had dinner at sakae sushi..her bro’s treat! actually this is my first time at sakae, yah so let hui qin do all the recommendation and ordering.. ahah her bro is a real nice and friendly guy..2 yrs older than me..we ended up talking on a lot of army stuff, uni stuff..

tried to subscribe to broadband today, but met with some technical difficulties..lol..but nvm let it be..no hurry..lol..i m quite impressed with my new LCD monitor, though dwin says it’s not gd enough..shd go for the dvi one instead of analogue..but nvm it doesn’t matter to me..

cny next wk le..time really flies..hope it will be an enjoyable one..:P

first my sincere gratitude towards kevin and liheng for their help in fixing my new desktop. worked out to be about 1.6k with LCD monitor..i find the comp quite powerful..lol. signing up broadband soon..:P

one year ago, at this time, i just got back from the hospital after going thru a minor surgery! ahah..crap la it was damn painful and i almost cun eat anything! 2years ago, on this very day too, went for the PSC scholarship interview, which happens to be 2 days before enlistment day. remembered it quite clearly, was a wonderful experience..nvr went inside city hall be4 too..

now it’s close to being 2 years in the army! it’s scary trying to think how long it has been..shall update on the major highlights of my days in army soon..:P

wow..my com is currently living on borrowed time now..this could be my last time blogging in quite a long while! trying to source out the problem. after i dc, i m going to back up all my stuff, yes the impt ones..and then try reticfy the problem, if i can identify it in the first place..k tt’s all ! wish me luck!

7jan - enlistment day for julian..dwin’s birthday..and also something impt. had a dull week..was at JGL from tues to fri..boring! nothing much to do. i hate this feeling of waiting for time to pass.

just got back home from dwin’s party. his parents really very nice. they were like more excited than the birthday boy himself. specially organised a party for him. awww..i m starting to wonder how am i going to spend my 21st birthday! ahah…my 20th birthday was bad..doing ICSB in tekong, the stupid 32km march. i wish that i will not fall sick on my birthday! yea..it’s pretty stupid for me to fall sick on that special day..yep so tt;s my early wish.

我会记得2006的! this day! Always!

yep 2006 is finally here. was a good boy last night. haha went to some new year eve dinner with family. eh the age gap between me and my cousins is too big. ahahZ..drank liquor, a bit only cos still have epl match to watch la..ahahZ..went to kev house after the dinner, more liquor! no lah..it’s in the form of liquor chocolates. yay liverpool won again…din waste my trip lol..i have been looking forward to 2006..yes ever since i enlisted in jan 04.. to be fair 2005 has been a good year though there have been some unhappy moments. a very eventful year in the army calendar which includes POI duties, CSB and of course the recently concluded taiwan trip. my platoon mates have been a fantastic bunch of great pals, really enjoyed the times spent with them though we went through tough times. as i enter the final phase of my NSF life, i can’t help but heave a sigh of relief tt i have made it through this far..did my part in keeping in contact with friends, ya met up with quite a number of them this past year, and hope this will continue in the many years to come. going to be 21 soon, the first phase of my life is about to conclude. hoping to start afresh, put behind the unhappy past ,work hard, stay happy and enjoy. It’s hard to live happily everyday, but i want to come as close as to achieving that. yep wishing everyone a very happy new year.

oh forgot to add that today got one uncle approach me for cigarettes! hahaZ..i feel so proud sia that i am being approached…for cigarettes! i wished i had some to spare to him! next time perhaps? hehe..
