ahah it’s the last wkend before csb! what a way to end the month of august! and what a way to celebrate my bday! at tekong! came back on fri from the minister visit prep. it’s veri tiring sia so glad it’s over! then had a haircut on sat..hmm felt veri refreshed after the cut..the barber was very talkative..ahahz..she even said i look like an indian since i haf so much hair…i was like errrrr….hahaZ..crap! met dwin at tampines later ..he offered to treat me to ice cream ahahz..so nice of him but we cun find any place to eat..all full so we had to make do with starbucks…oh and he gave me a book ..hahaZ..i promise i ll read it..

hmm went out with hq on sun…she brought me to this coffeeshop ….dun realli know where exactly it is but it;s near somerset..the food is veri nice sia! i like the oriental feeling..it’s so diff from eating at fast food outlets and restaurants…ahahZ…and yam pancake + curry = fantastic..though the curry was a bit spicy…haahZ..shall intro that place to my friends!

had to book in after that..but had a pleasant surprise when my PC let me book out again..ahhaZ..bday off! but cun be on 30th itself cos got the csb..took bus 67 back..i really enjoyed the ride..the bus was travelling veri fast at this hour (ard 11 plus pm) and got to sleep on the bus…came back just in time for maggie mee..cooked by my mum! thanks ahahZ..

and i m all ready for csb! bring it on! a memorable 20th bday i ll have!

ahahZ the past 2 weeks has been simply disastrous, not to say that the next week is gonna be good..at least i can look forward to this weekend break!

had a pleasant surprise just now! received my first birthday card ! by post! ahah guess who! it’s from DSTA! ahah chey….but the card is kinda cool, has the DSTA logo somemore! i appreciated that!

back from a hectic week! which includes sat being burnt…the turn out for the open house was better than i expected..but it was boring having to be there the whole day..

but come to think of it, what difference does it make if i had stayed at home on sat? would be slacking at home dying of boredom anyway..seriously my house lacks entertainment..ahhaZ..no broadband so online games are out..the monitor is also getting freaky so basically computers are out..tv programmes aren’t that interesting..old books are nice to read but still would get bored..and there are also the same old songs that i m listening to..so in the end i ll just waste my time going to the interchange walk walk a bit then come back.

so clearing offs is kinda stupid when i m going to waste the whole day rotting..ahhaZ..

*sigh* later tonight there’s gonna be EPL match between Chelsea and Arsenal..really feel like watching it! think most prob will go down to the coffeeshop and watch with the uncles since i dun subscribe to cable tv. i hate being a passive smoker though, but can’t expect much anyway…at least i have the company of the uncles..haahZ.

which day in the lunar calendar does my birthdae fall on? i wonder how many people know theirs..all along i m told to rem 2 birthdaes..one is the usual one we rem and the other is the "lunar" one..ahahZ..tml is the 15th dae of the seventh month in the lunar calendar—-> my "chinese" birthday!! not bad can enjoy full moon in a spooky month!

hahaZ and there’s a difference of about a week plus between the 2 birthdaes…

I realise that at the age of 19 these 2 birthdaes coincide…and was told that it will coincide every 19 years..i wonder why..hahZ..will try to find out..

hmm involved in this sat’s open house..very busy and i had to forgo my off-in-lieu. booking in soon to sleep in camp (alone). was initially quite displeased with the arrangement in which only i (among the platoon) had to stay back but got over it quickly..haiii after all someone has to sacrifice and this time it happened to be me..was feeling kinda lonely though..haahZ..but i m kinda surprised with myself how come i din have very strong reactions. guess i grew up a bit! in the past i would SURELy be angry for the duration of the whole event (and i would keep thinking why it has to be me)!!! haha life’s never perfectly fair and it’s no use complaining or whining or grumbling. it doesn’t solve anything either. i feel good now tt i m doing something nice, just hoping that i would be given flexibility to clear my un-cleared offs. that would be nice!

haiii..that;s what i get for being a good soldier in clearing my SOC..lol..i think that army has really prepared me to always expect the unexpected..and the hard part is to make yourself feel good when u know u are doing some shitty work…

thinking of how to spend my bdae….hahaZ..just hope that i dun fall sick on tt dae..(cos i did fall sick once) Being healthy is the most important! was really feeling damn miserable last wk when i fell sick and had to do guard duty. should be taking off on tt dae if nothing goes wrong..but it;s kinda stupid if i take off to stay at home on my bdae..lol..but what to do ? better than nothing right? hahaZ.

ahhaZ shall touch a bit on army life though i find it pretty boring to keep talking about it! highlights include ACCT grading and heritage run. haha i think ACCT is fun especially the knife techniques . It;s so useful ! but hope wun get to use them! was the S3 signaller for the heritage run..rather uneasy at the start but everything turns out fine..hehe!

OH i need a calculator!!

haha k now for the main thing i wanna talk about..todae i became a filial son..haah brought my mum to watch soccer at Tampines Stadium. actualli i m not those veri filial type but once in a while i ll rem how to be a good son. lol. match was between Tampines Rovers FC and SAF FC. match was highly entertaining i feel! match ended 5-3 in SAF FC’s favour! the crowd kept chanting  "referee kayu" cos he sent off a tampines defender, but i realli thought tt the sending off was justified(even though i m a tampines fan) after the match the crowd tried to mob the referee..haah..but singaporeans are veri well behaved i guess..will make noise but wun get violent..cos i think we are brought up well enough to know that hitting someone = crime = jail =  no job = no money = nothing to eat..so in a nice way we are a sensible lot..otherwise we can just call ourselves kia si.

Chaos within order…haahZ..i really like the atmosphere..where everyone can shout nonsense and vent their daily work frustrations out. and i get entertained by the stupid remarks they make..

OH and i saw julian with his gf at the stadium..long time no see pal…hahaZ..it has been mi wish to bring mi gf to watch a soccer match with me at the stadium LIVE..hmm but it;s hard to find girls who have interest in soccer..and can be bothered enough to watch S League matches..ahahZ

haahZ..highlight of this week’s schedule was SOC! had a decent timing of 9:17 but got a cut on my back without me realising until i reached my bunk! so basically cun slp well cos of the wound on my back. i really hope that there will be no more SOC for me, as what is promised. haha..SOC’s hazardous!

wonder when my corn will heal..it’s taking forever! going for treatment again soon! haha i dread liquid N2. i think i should be getting myself excused from the physical activities! need to let my foot rest!

again, first 2 digits will be 25 + a, last 2 digits will be a^2.

eg. 59 ^2

a would be 9, so first 2 digits would be 34 , last 2 being 81.

so 59 ^ 2 = 3481

49 ^2 would be 2401.
